Welcome to Volume 3 Chapter 5 of the Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network’s podcast that blends horror and heavy metal properties with a common connection. Your host, writer and journalist Tom Clark, is joined, as always, by our panel of metal & horror experts: Musician Mr. Scott, metal connoisseur & horror enthusiast Walt Ball and Musician & artist Azriel Mordecai.
We're going behind the
scenes and getting nosy this week as we tell you what documentaries
on horror and metal you should be watching or should have watched
already. From Quiet Riot to A Nightmare on Elmstreet, there are
dozens of great behind the scenes documentaries on horror movies
& metal acts. But it's the documentaries on real murders that
are often the scariest, like Paradise Lost and even the JFK
assassination film we've all seen.
Then, film critic and our brother from The Curtain Jerkers,
Steve Mesa, joins us to review IT COMES AT NIGHT, Trey Edward
Shults' film starring Joel Edgerton. Whats it about? We've got a
spoilerific review coming from Steve.
But that's not all, oh no. Tom reviews what many are calling Tom Cruise's worst film ever, The Mummy. What did I think of it? Does Mike Duke owe him Irish Whiskey? Walt is cooking up the new Jorn, Life on the Death Road in the smoker, Az has something Oikilly Doikilly brewing in the mortuary and Holy Axe Handles, Batman, as Mr. Scott remembers Adam West for us.
