Welcome to volume 2, chapter 43 of the Necrocasticon, Project Entertainment Network's podcast that blends horror and heavy metal properties with a common connection.
This week, your host, veteran journalist and podcaster and fledgling horror writer Token Tom Clark, is once again joined by our panel of metal and horror experts at Project Entertainment Network as we talk about the life and times of the late character actor, Bill Paxton. But you see, this week, musician Maxx Axe, uber fan Smoking Walt Hades and musician and artist Azriel Mordecai aren't alone, oh no. As our topic is one of great importance, we felt it required a few more panelists.
With that in mind, joining us, from our sister podcast The Curtain Jerkers, is movie critic and freelance journalist, Steve Mesa. Steve work can be seen in places such as the Miami Herald. But Steve isn't alone. Bill Paxton was so big, we brought a big time Hollywood screenwriter on board to help flush out our talk. That's right, we have brought back to the Necrocasticon one of our favorite guests, writer Mike Skvarla, the scribe behind the indy hit, Love in the Time of Monsters. From Weird Science to Titanic, from Big Love to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Bill Paxton has been the go to guy in genre fiction and more on the silver screen. His career spanned nearly 40 years, and we're here to salute the man that brought life to characters as diverse as Private Hudson in Aliens, or the Dad in Frailty. It's an hour of talk about the man that was Bill Paxton.
